On Monday, August 17th, from 8:30 to 11:00 AM, our incredible Fern Bluff teachers and staff are hitting the neighborhood pavement for our annual Welcome Walk! Keep an eye out for friendly faces stopping by your front door to say hello, welcome your family to the new school year, and kick off what’s going to be an amazing year together.

Whether you're joining us for PreK3 or stepping into your final year as a 5th grader, we can't wait to see your smiling faces!

To help our Bobcat families plan vacations, appointments, and other important events, we are sharing our 2026-2027 Fern Bluff Elementary Vacation Planner. This resource includes school holidays, breaks, and key testing dates (STAAR dates to be added soon), so families can make informed plans throughout the year.

As always, we encourage families to schedule travel outside of instructional and testing days whenever possible to maximize student learning opportunities.

🎒 Important Back-to-School Update for the 2026-2027 School Year! 🎒

As you start looking ahead to school supply shopping, please note a new policy for the upcoming year: rolling backpacks will no longer be allowed at Fern Bluff Elementary. Standard over-the-shoulder backpacks are still perfectly fine and encouraged! This change will help keep our hallways safe, clear, and moving smoothly for all of our Bobcats.

Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.
Students participating in the district-provided summer learning programs will need to bring their Chromebooks with them each day.
